One Loose Tooth Tavern

The veteran-operated tavern belongs to Burnet’s VFW Post 6974 and is open to the public. The tavern has 30+ global beer and cider taps in addition to a variety of sangrias, and more. Dart board, check; pool tables, check; large screens with the game, check.

Small but mighty. This little jewel is off the beaten path. Their specialty is crafty cocktails. They have a creative menu and also serve brews. 

Templeton’s

Backyard feel with a large covered pavilion and a rooftop space to enjoy the view. Craft cocktails, casual menu, live music, regular karaoke nights, and pickleball. Family and pet-friendly.

The Standard on Vaughan

Finer fare and full mixology is on the menu at The Standard on Vaughan in downtown Bertram. A restaurant known as much for its cocktails as its food. The bar has big screens for game-watching and is a great spot to grab a drink before catching a show at the nearby Globe Theater.

Fresh AF Park is all about fun, day or night. This very casual, tree-shaded, open-air park has a full service bar with on-site food trucks. The family- and pet-friendly park has four professional grade pickleball courts, a playground for the kids, lawn games, picnic tables, and seating scattered throughout. Hiccups Sports Bar & Grill

As a sports bar should, Hiccups has a host of screens for multi-game viewing, pool tables, and a patio. Drinks include a nice selection of beer, cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic options. The menu has a variety of appetizers, burgers, pizzas, and salads.

Occasional live piano, jazz, and other special events lend to the inviting atmosphere at Sips on Second. If you’re headed over, be sure to check out the house rules.
