Small but mighty. This little jewel is off the beaten path. Their specialty is crafty cocktails. They have a creative menu and also serve brews.

Van Brocklin’s Bistro

The Standard on Vaughan

Finer fare and full mixology is on the menu at The Standard on Vaughan in downtown Bertram. A restaurant known as much for its cocktails as its food. The bar has big screens for game-watching and is a great spot to grab a drink before catching a show at the nearby Globe Theater.

The upscale Marlin Bar at Bay View offers a full bar serving cocktails, mocktails, wine, and brews with an incredible view of Lake LBJ. The restaurant serves a creative, chef-created menu. Great place for a date night or night out with friends.
Fresh Air + Food Park (Fresh AF Food Park)

Fresh AF Park is all about fun, day or night. This very casual, tree-shaded, open-air park has a full service bar with on-site food trucks. The family- and pet-friendly park has four professional grade pickleball courts, a playground for the kids, lawn games, picnic tables, and seating scattered throughout. Hiccups Sports Bar & Grill

As a sports bar should, Hiccups has a host of screens for multi-game viewing, pool tables, and a patio. Drinks include a nice selection of beer, cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic options. The menu has a variety of appetizers, burgers, pizzas, and salads.

The buzz is the cocktail portion of the business is slated to open September 2026. Packsaddle Distillery & Saloon will serve mead, honey wine, and honey spirits made from Hill Country honey.

Rae’s offers a full bar and full menu. The family- and dog-friendly spot downtown is like a favorite pair of jeans, laid back and comfortable. The bar and grill has indoor and outdoor seating. Snag a perch outside and watch the bustle of downtown.

Sips on Second

Give them a ring from the red phone booth out front to enter this Roaring 20s-style speakeasy cocktail lounge, but you didn’t hear it from us. Specializing in craft cocktails with mocktails and wine available, bites come in the form of charcuterie boards.
