Fourth of July in Burnet County
The Fourth of July weekend is the single biggest tourism weekend of the year in Burnet County. Lake LBJ, Lake Marble Falls, Lake Buchanan, and Inks Lake all sit within a short drive of one another, which means visitors can string together multiple parades, festivals, and fireworks shows across a long weekend — something almost no other destination in Texas offers in the same concentration.
Each show has its own character. Marble Falls is the spectacle — an eighteen-minute fireworks display launched from a barge in the middle of the lake, broadcast on local radio so you can sync the soundtrack from your boat or your blanket on the beach. Kingsland’s AquaBoom is the festival — parades, washer tournaments, a poker run on the river, and fireworks over the RM 2900 bridge. Inks Lake, Bertram, and Spicewood round out the lineup with quieter, small-town celebrations that feel like a Texas Hill Country postcard.

Marble Falls Fireworks
July 4th
Lakeside Park – 305 Buena Vista Dr, Marble Falls, TX 78654
The city’s celebration begins at 9 a.m. with the Fourth of July parade. It starts at Johnson Park on Avenue J South and travels around downtown. The party continues later in the afternoon at Lakeside Park, 305 Buena Vista Drive, with live music, food vendors, and a fireworks show at dark.
Bertram
July 4th

Small-town Americana at its best. The Bertram Volunteer Fire Department hosts a community fireworks show at the Little League fields — bring lawn chairs and visit with neighbors.
Spicewood
July 4th
Krause Springs – 424 Co Rd 404, Spicewood, TX 78669
The private, spring-fed swimming hole and campground hosts a free fireworks show at dark. Arrive early—the gates close at 8 p.m. Other good viewing spots are at Spicewood Elementary, 1005 Spur 191, or along CR 412 near Krause Springs.
