Luther Ranch House

Luther Ranch House is an 1870s family ranch house set on 100 private acres just outside Burnet, in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. Surrounded by open land, quiet skies, and wide porches, it’s a place meant for slowing down and spending time together.

Though the setting feels peaceful and remote, the house is only a short drive from the Highland Lakes and local favorites like Longhorn Caverns, Reveille Peak Ranch, Canyon of the Eagles, Enchanted Rock, and Colorado Bend State Park. Be sure to visit the vineyards and wineries in the Highland Lakes.

The home has been thoughtfully cared for and updated to comfortably host families and groups. It sleeps up to 11 adults, with additional trundle beds available, and offers generous gathering spaces that make it easy to reconnect—whether you’re celebrating something special or simply enjoying time away.

Downstairs, the main level is easily accessible, with two full bathrooms (one ADA-friendly), flat walkways from parking to the patio entrance, and comfortable year-round heating and air conditioning. The fully equipped kitchen is designed for real use—from quick breakfasts to shared family dinners—and includes a dedicated coffee bar with a Keurig.

Outside, life slows even more. The gated front porch is a favorite spot for morning coffee, birdwatching, and watching the sun rise and set over the Hill Country. The fenced patio and backyard feature a hot tub, BBQ grill, and plenty of seating for evenings spent under the stars. Guests are also welcome to explore the property, take quiet walks, and visit the ranch’s friendly goats.

Ample parking, an RV electrical hookup, and optional horse lodging make Luther Ranch House a comfortable base for weekend visits or longer stays.
