Take it easy at beautiful Lake It Easy on Lake LBJ
By Alecia Ormsby
Experience life on Lake LBJ for a week or a weekend at Lake It Easy, 110 Circle Point in Kingsland. This lakeside lodge sleeps up to 12 people and is a great place to host family and friends with awesome amenities and gorgeous water views. The spacious property offers plenty of areas to spread out, whether on warm or cool days in the house or in the water.
The recently renovated home includes two levels. Upstairs is an open floor plan with a combined kitchen and living room opening onto an awesome deck. The deck includes cozy chairs and two outdoor table and chair sets for perfect dining, game playing, or relaxing.
Inside, an extended table with bench seating and chairs as well as barstools at a kitchen counter provide plenty of space for family and friends to chow down. The beautifully decorated interior has a classy, casual lakeside look furnished with comfy couches and chairs surrounding a fireplace and big-screen TV.
Whether from the deck or the interior living space, the views at Lake it Easy are amazing. No need to turn on the TV until the night has set in.
Downstairs, another living space is set up for alternate TV viewing and space for group board games. Four bedrooms and three bathrooms fill out the remainder of the home, which also includes a convenient washer/dryer for all of those wet bathing suits and towels.
Lake it Easy has plenty to do outside as well. Besides watching the sunset on the upper deck or hanging out with your dogs in the pet-friendly space on the covered lower deck, a grassy lawn accommodates sun tanning and family play. A nearby hammock is a great place to bring a book or take a nap after a full day of fun in the sun.
The covered boat dock features casual Adirondack chairs and another table plus two lifts, one for a boat and one for a personal watercraft. Whether you want to jump off the dock or enter via the stairs with a railing, the Colorado River-fed lake is a magnificent place to swim or float.
The location is also fisherman-friendly, whether casting for perch, catfish, or largemouth and white bass.
When ready to do a little exploring by land, take a trip to the shops and restaurants in nearby Kingsland, Burnet, or Marble Falls. Visit the historic Burnet courthouse square, hike the granite trails at Inks Lake State Park, or discover Longhorn Caverns. All are just minutes away.
