The expansive living room at Stone Lodge is a perfect gathering place for TV watching, casual conversation, or admiring the Hill Country vistas through the large windows.

Stone Lodge, rustic elegance, and room for a crowd

Planning a family get-together, guys’ or gals’ weekend, family reunion, or company retreat? Book an unforgettable stay at Stone Lodge on Lake Travis. It’s big enough to handle up to 17, and its seven spacious bedrooms and 6½ baths mean you’ll spend your time in uncrowded comfort in this rustically elegant home.

For arriving guests, the magic starts even before opening the front door as you are greeted by a stylish covered patio featuring stone floors, wooden ceiling, fireplace, and big-screen TV. Your travel partners can plop down on a swing, sofa, or occasional chair — or follow a set of steps that leads to the lake.

Next, open the front door and step into a cavernous, two-story living area. Wood ceilings, stone accents, and hunting trophies along the walls give this home the look of an upscale lodge. An oversize sectional sofa, big-screen TV, fireplace, and countryside views make this an inviting place to gather any time of the day.

The home’s open plan ties together the living room, kitchen, and dining area with a generous outdoor deck a few steps away.

Up to 16 diners can enjoy a meal at this dining table, a kitchen-side bar, and an additional four-top nearby.

A huge, fully equipped kitchen is made for gourmet chefs with top-of-the-line appliances, generous counter space, and room for a handful of cooks to ply their trade. At mealtime, the nearby dining table seats eight, with overflow seating at the bar and a nearby four-top.

And, if it’s too nice a day to cook or eat indoors, don’t. The spacious deck has a gas grill, dining table, and plenty of places to lounge after dinner and enjoy a Highland Lakes panorama.

Four of the bedrooms feature king-size beds, two others have queens, and the seventh bedroom has a queen, twin, and upper bunk. There is also a loft space with a twin-size bed. Six of the bedrooms feature deluxe, ensuite baths.

For exploring beyond the property, the sky is pretty much the limit. Within 10 miles, you’ll find parks, wineries, distilleries, a variety of cuisines, and live music.

And when the stay at Stone Lodge is over, you may discover that it’s not that hard to please a crowd after all.

Please note: Lake Travis’ level is subject to weather-related fluctuations that could affect lake access. Address any concerns when making your booking inquiry.
