MUST-SEE EVENTS
Throughout the summer, four significant rodeos take place in the Highland Lakes. Leading the season in May, the Burnet County Rodeo offers an exhilarating display of athletic ability at the Burnet County Fairgrounds and Rodeo Arena in Burnet.
June welcomes two rodeos for a fun-filled month of events. The first, the Llano Open-Pro Rodeo, takes place on the second weekend of June at Robinson Park in Llano, Texas. The second June rodeo is the Stonewall Peach JAMboree and Rodeo. This event takes place in mid-June at the Stonewall Rodeo Grounds on Peach Street.
July brings the Marble Falls Rodeo Association’s annual Open/Pro Rodeo which is held at the end of the month at the Charley Taylor Rodeo Arena on US 281.
