Situated in a quiet cove off of Lake LBJ, Cottonwood Cottage in the Highland Lakes of Burnet County offers a fun and potentially action-packed visit. 

Everything you need to play in the water is within your reach, including a floating mat lilypad, standup paddleboards, and a paddleboat. You can bring your own boat or rent one nearby. Tie either to the private dock on the property when you are relaxing on the cottage’s lovely lawn, where you can play washers or sit on a porch swing. 

The cozy cabin is in all-American style with clever wall signage, decorative curtains, and bedding. Everything you need in the kitchen is available, including a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. There’s plenty of outdoor seating at long picnic tables and a foursome bistro set. 

Sit under the expansive shade trees and play games in the afternoon. Cook dinner on the charcoal grill after shopping at the nearby H-E-B grocery store. Then, toast marshmallows on the fire pit. Twinkling lights above add to the atmosphere. 

It’s the perfect place for the whole family, including the dog. Cottonwood Cottage will sleep four adults comfortably with one queen bed, two double beds, and a twin.

Cottonwood Cottage is easily accessible from RR 1431 between Kingsland and Marble Falls in Burnet County.
