October Events Feature Music, Cars, Goblins

October might be one of the best months to take a trip to Burnet County, especially if you’re interested in live music after a day of hiking through the variety of trails you’ll find throughout the Highland Lakes of Burnet County.

Don’t forget to plan a day at Sweet Berry Farm in Marble Falls where you can choose a pumpkin, hand pick a bouquet of zinnias, find your way through one of three mazes, and enjoy a number of other outdoor activities.

Sweet Berry Farm offers lots of good food and fall fun at 1801 FM 1980 in Marble Falls. It’s open 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. weekdays and Saturdays and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sundays. Closed on Wednesdays, which is school field trip day at the farm.

As for evening entertainment, the Trailblazer Grille serves up great food and local music every Saturday at its restaurant on the courthouse square in downtown Burnet. This month, the historic Globe Theatre in Bertram will host the 80th birthday bash of Little Joe y Familia.

And, in Marble Falls, the Kiwanis Club’s annual Main Street Car Show is on and set up perfectly for abiding by COVID-19 restrictions.

Halloween will not be forgotten in the Highland Lakes of Burnet County either. Come on out to Tremble on the Trail in Granite Shoals to be scared silly by the ghosts and goblins you’ll find in Quarry Park over a four-night celebration.

We have all the details right here.
