Paul Eason (formerly in Kevin Fowler’s band) and Zane Williams (songwriter and Billboard artist) have their own band: Hill Country. Regulars at the Saxon Pub in Austin and Gruene Hall in Gruene, they are playing at Wakepoint this month, bringing their homegrown country music to a hometown audience.

HILL COUNTRY LAWN & GARDEN SHOW

The Highland Lakes Master Gardener Association organizes this free show filled with plants, experts, gardening gear, children’s activities, and more. It takes place at the Burnet Community Center, 401 E. Jackson St.

GRANITEFEST

The city of Granite Shoals’ annual community celebration features food and drinks, vendors, barbecue and chili cook-offs, children’s activities, hot-air balloon rides, live music, and the Show & Shine car show.

Artists spread out across Marble Falls and beyond in this annual plein air competition. The event also features an art show and sale.

LLANO EARTH ART FEST

This annual event along the banks of the Llano River in Llano features the World Rock Stacking Championships, the Free Flow on the Llano VW car show, live music, earth art, vendors, children’s activities, and camping. New this year is a rock skipping contest.

A musical tribute to King George at the LanTex Theatre, 113 W. Main St. in Llano.
