DESCRIPTION:Visitors are welcome to Highland Lakes Birding and Wildflower Society’s presentation of “Species of Greatest Concern in the Texas Hill Country.” Wendy Anderson\, a nature tracker biologist with the Parks and Wildlife Department\, will explore the two species in question; the causes of their population declines; and what is being done to support them. Doors open at 9:30 for light refreshments in the foyer of the church. At 10:00\, the business meeting begins in the sanctuary\, with the presentation following at 10:30.
