Easy Living at Lakeside Lodge
Lakeside Lodge on Lake Buchanan is a perfect place to unwind and recharge in Burnet County. When you arrive, you can lounge on the huge private dock or patio, float on the water or fish, or play in the delightfully temperate water.
After dinner in nearby restaurant, return to the dock for a gorgeous sunset on the expansive Lake Buchanan.
You can spend some time stargazing at the brilliant night sky and then retire to one of three lodge room suites just off of the patio and dock. Available for two to four guests, each is unique in theme and comes with a small refrigerator and a coffee pot. Choose from the Coyote Suite for one to two guests, the Indian Room featuring two double beds, or the Big Blue Room with a double and a queen bed.
When you awaken, you can dive into the best breakfast on the lake. A special Hawaiian, Columbian, and pecan blend of freshly ground coffee will enhance your waking hour. Lakeside Lodge is famous for its homemade hash browns that accompany eggs your way, bacon, and sausage. Breakfast is served with the chef’s special sweet treat that varies by the day, including silver dollar pancakes and freshly baked muffins. Teas, juice, seasonal fresh fruit, and toast are also available.
You can rent floats for the lake and swim or hike along the shoreline.
Daytime activities are plentiful near this Burnet County lodge. Board a boat on the Texas Vanishing River Cruise, explore history at Fort Croghan Museum in Burnet, or shop until you drop in Burnet or Marble Falls, where you’ll find an abundance of antique and gift stores. The Hill Country is known for its wineries, so visit nearby vineyards to close out the day.
