Container City in Burnet County offers modern lodging in revamped, decorated shipping containers on Spider Mountain. The “city” of containers includes six, large storage boxes that have been cleaned, painted, plumbed and wired for electricity and then decorated inside to be your cabin home for the week or the weekend.

The only bar and restaurant on Spider Mountain, Templeton’s, is also made from a container, serving a variety of local beers, wines, and spirits. Wood-fired pizza and bar snacks are a nice reward at the end of a day of activity in the Highland Lakes.

Cyclists coming to Spider Mountain Bike Park can ride their bikes from the park directly to their cabin. The bike park lift is available for non-bikers as well with a walk-down path or a round-trip ticket with panoramic views of the gorgeous Hill Country.
Container City also features spots for outfitted vans, campers, or RVs. With slips from 38-80 feet, each one provides 12-, 30-, and 50-amp service and wastewater and potable water hookups. Connect to the internet and enjoy a fire ring and a picnic table at your site. The onsite bathroom facility has toilets and sinks.
